Over Lundeans Nek Pass (+- 3 hours from Sterkspruit)

Please please take note that this is a 4×4 route only and should not be considered as the shortest route from Johannesburg or the Freestate.  Although shorter in distance it will take you longer in Travel time. This is a slow route with very little to no cell reception.

The closest fuel station is Sterkspruit and there is no assistance on route between there and our farm.

However, not to deter you from the route, this is my Personal Favourite Pass;  as it is both Culturally and Scenically Beautiful! It is certainly a Must See for all 4×4 and adventure enthusiasts. Just make sure you have time, good cameras and perhaps a refreshment or two to help you enjoy the Views.

  • You will pass the Wartrail Tennis Club on your left, then keep Right at the Fork.
  • Then right again at the following Fork for about 3km
  • The second farm on the right is called Balloch (turn right into this farm)
  • The driveway is about 5km
